Los Ports
A spectacular, demanding gravel route with a combination of different sections and beautiful natural landscapes. The route starts on the Val de Zafán Via Verde (greenway), an old railway line converted into a cycle path, which leads to Horta de Sant Joan, a charming village with deep historical roots. From there, the route continues along dirt tracks to Arnes and then to Beseit, known for its peaceful mountainous environment. The route becomes more difficult as it climbs the Formenta section and enters the spectacular Ports de Tortosa-Beseit.
In the most demanding part, we cross the main track from Fredes to Caro, which leads to the summit of Mont Caro, the highest point of the Els Ports Massif. From the summit, an impressive descent begins with incredible views, passing by the iconic sculpture of the wild goat, a symbol of the area.
Finally, the route comes to an end with a descent to Tortosa, arriving at Hotel SB Corona, where you can rest and recover after this unique adventure. This route is perfect for fans of gravel routes looking for a physical and technical challenge combined with picture-postcard landscapes.
