Falda dels Ports

This short but charming route allows you to experience riding through the peaceful Val de Zafán Via Verde (greenway) as well as discovering typical villages and natural landscapes at the foot of the Els Ports massif. The route starts at Hotel SB Corona in Tortosa, following the old Via Verde (greenway) to the village of Aldover. After this town, the route enters a landscape dotted with olive groves, where a gentle but constant ascent begins. During this stretch, you cross the dry canal of Xerta-Sénia, a historical infrastructure that adds cultural interest to the route.

Once you reach the village of Alfara de Carles, located at the foot of the Els Ports massif, the descent begins. This route passes through the small, picturesque village of Reguers, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Finally, the route connects again with the greenway at the village of Roquetes, then returns to the starting point at the hotel, completing this circular route which is ideal for cyclists looking for a peaceful but varied outing.
